the signature of simplexgate msi is broken or invalid

This is a misinterpretation of internet explorer.
The signature can manually be checked in the downloaded MSI via rightclick -> properties -> digital signatures -> details.
When the signature is reported as "The digital signature is valid", the MSI can be installed without any concerns.
